Odendahl enters his senior season with an opportunity to become a more meaningful contributor for a Lewis-Palmer team capable of making another deep postseason run. He’s spent much of his time toward the end of the rotation, but we believe there’s room for him to make an impact with additional minutes. He has the size to provide a physical presence, battle on the glass and make things uncomfortable for opposing players around the basket. What we’d like to see is Odendahl fully embrace his role by bringing energy, finishing opportunities inside and making his minutes count. He hasn’t been a major statistical contributor to this point, but that doesn’t mean he can’t become an important piece. For a team with championship aspirations, having dependable players who understand their responsibilities matters. Odendahl has a chance to become one of those glue guys who gives Lewis-Palmer valuable minutes when called upon. That’s an X-factor and he can be that.

Odendahl continues to stand out as one of the more reliable perimeter threats because of his ability to create space and consistently knock down shots. He possesses deep range, a quick release and a smooth shooting motion that allows him to get his shot off against tight defensive pressure. He plays with a high level of poise and makes smart decisions with the basketball, rarely forcing the action and keeping the offense flowing. He understands how to move without the ball and find openings within the defense. On the defensive end he competes with the same intensity, closing out hard on shooters, staying active and forcing opponents to give the ball up. His combination of shooting, decision making and defensive effort has made him a player that continues to impact winning in multiple ways
