Broomfield is a team that I believe will be a sleeper team this upcoming season, as a bulk of their squad were underclassmen. They battled in games, made a playoff run, and showed that they belonged. But also a few names caught us by surprise. [player_tooltip player_id='3488457' first='Kolt' last='Smith'] was their leading scorer on the year and was one of the most improved players in the conference. The 6'5 forward put up 11 points and 5.5 rebounds a game. He showed he could go inside and battle it out, he could finish with his back to the basket, and occasionally pop out and hit the 3-ball as well. He's a prospect that is full of promise, and we hope to see a bit more of him this summer as well as in the Fall. He's firmly on our radar and jumps in the Top-100 prospects in his rankings debut.

Talmadge is a 6'10 big man who put up huge stats this year and made the most of the opportunities. His play led to some wins, as he put up 10.8 points and 7.9 rebounds. He's coming into his own as a player who progressed along with the season and is starting to live up to the positive upside he has. His biggest mark was being able to protect the paint as he put up 3.2 blocks a game. There should be plenty of attention his way as he is a pretty big-time prospect that needs to be on more radars. He jumps in the Top-75 with his season, and we can't wait to check him out this summer.

Watching this Lewis-Palmer team, it was hard not to root for them as they play hard, they play together, and the right way. One of their prospects who stood out this year was 6'3 forward, [player_tooltip player_id='2403118' first='Nathan' last='Darnell']. Darnell is a player who starred in his role. He took open shots, he cut and slashed as a finisher down low and in transition, and battled on the boards as well. Darnell is a contagious player who does the little things. He steps up defensively, had a few big moments offensively, and is a spark for the team. He's a player we'll certainly see this summer. He makes his rankings debut with room to grow after a big grassroots season.

Mooney fit in where he could, and that had him as one of the X factors of the conference. He provided a spark for the team, and he was one of the more prominent players for Columbine. He'll have to make a huge jump this summer in preparation for what will be expected of him next year, and there is a solid base to go off of. The 6'3 forward is an athletic big man who gets out in transition and finishes above the basket. He works the block and has had a few solid rebounding games, which opened it up for teammates as well. We'd love to see him be a bit more aggressive moving forward, as we feel he'll make a big jump moving forward. He's making his debut after an under-the-radar season.

Ezra was the team's PG this year, and he made a big jump in his game, which showed his work in the offseason. He set the tone early in the season and then finished it off in a groove as well. Ezra looks confident with the ball in his hands. He made the right reads, and with all of those big bodies around him was lethal in the PnR. He either went and finished in traffic, pulled back for a 3-point shot or dumped it off to a big man for them to go to work. He's a high-IQ guard who is still progressing and reading what defenses are giving him, and is a player to keep an eye on moving forward. We're excited to see how he looks this summer as he makes his rankings debut.

Styles was one of the glue guys for Palmer this year, who came into the game and provided a spark for Palmer. The guard was able to take care of the ball, did not force too much, and was efficient when he did take shots. He allowed the game to come to him, has a good change of pace which opens it up for himself and teammates, and also played hard when he was on the floor, which made him as one of the team's better defenders. To close the season he was in a groove where he was grabbing boards with the bigs, passing teammates into open shots, and breaking down the defense, and that is the guard who is making his rankings debut. We're excited to see how he looks this summer and hope he comes into his own this summer.

Berhane makes his rankings debut after a big-time season. Berhane was DSST: Montview's leading scorer as the 6'2 do-it-all guard averaged 15.8 points a game. He had some monster games this year despite being the focal point for opposing teams, and they threw different looks at him, which he countered. He shot 40% from beyond the arc, he moved off-ball and finished in traffic, and he also got the best of defenders in 1-on-1 situations as well. He used his size on the bigs, did not shy away from contact, and made it a point to get to the FT line as well. He's a player to keep an eye on as he makes his rankings debut.
