This was a very easy decision. Ertel led Mt. Vernon (Fortville) to a Class 4A State Championship this season while averaging 24.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. The Purdue signee had 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists in the state championship game.

Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A First Team All-State

Lawrence North got upset in Sectional 10, but for much of the season they exceeded what many expected of them. The 6'6" forward averaged 24.2 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. Indiana Wesleyan is getting a really special player.

We had Crown Point ranked #1 in the state for much of this season here at Prep Hoops Indiana. Shaw ultimately led them to the state finals as well before falling short against Ertel and Mt. Vernon (Fortville). Plainfield was a Top 5 team for much of this season and the play of this 6'8" DePaul signee was a big reason why. He averaged 14.8 points and 5.2 assists per game while shooting an incredible 79-195 (40.5%) from three-point range.

Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Second Team All-State

[player_tooltip player_id='2457404' first='Caleb' last='Coolman'] (Penn H.S. 2028): 21.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 5.9 assists per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'] (Pike H.S. 2027): 12.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 4.3 blocks per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'] (Pike H.S. 2028): 14.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2382148' first='Noah' last='Washington'] (New Albany H.S. 2028): 20.7 points per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2932419' first='Mack' last='Welker'] (Homestead H.S. 2027): 21.0 points, 9.8 rebounds per game.

Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Third Team All-State

[player_tooltip player_id='2267048' first='Harper' last='Baker-Lands'] (Plainfield H.S. 2027): 17.6 points per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell'] (Carmel H.S. 2026): 15.5 points, 8.1 rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'] (Fishers H.S. 2026): 15.3 points, 6.5 rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2024513' first='Nick' last='Shrewsberry'] (South Bend St. Joseph H.S. 2026): 17.9 points, 7.9 rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1561054' first='Baron' last='Walker'] (Noblesville H.S. 2026): 18.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists per game.

Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Honorable Mention All-State

[player_tooltip player_id='1988138' first='Drew' last='Haffner'] (Westfield H.S. 2026)

[player_tooltip player_id='2398991' first='Tyrese' last='Jones'] (South Bend Riley H.S. 2026)

[player_tooltip player_id='2140359' first='Elijah' last='King'] (South Bend St. Joseph H.S. 2027)

[player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller'] (Pike H.S. 2027)

[player_tooltip player_id='1744397' first='Xavier' last='Wilson'] (Fort Wayne Snider H.S. 2026)
