As the Summer nears an end and the basketball winds down, we will recap some of the notable player offers, movements, and performances from across South Carolina over the past two months. Starting off this series is new offers. One thing that makes June and July so important is the number of live periods. These often result in a multitude of offers going out, especially for those prospects that play well. Check out this list of South Carolina players who received an offer this Summer, including a few notes on the nine who received more than one:

2026

[player_tooltip player_id='1486213' first='BJ' last='Brown'] - Towson (D1), Drexel (D1)

Brown has moved up to #2 in the Prep Hoops SC Rankings as a result of out-of-state departures and has earned offers from two CAA teams recently. BJ's combination of size and shooting is what has caught the eye of scouts, especially given the jump in production this season with Upward Stars SE. Those are things that will translate in the short-term and the long-term for Brown, so it's easy to see why schools at every level are keeping tabs on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1624061' first='Caden' last='Coleman'] - Georgia Southern (D1)

[player_tooltip player_id='1560921' first='Levi' last='Ball'] - North Florida (D1), Northeastern (D1), Georgia Southern (D1), Kennesaw State (D1), Dallas Baptist (D2), Navy (D1), The Citadel (D1), Marshall (D1)

The wave of offers began rolling in on June 28th for Levi, thanks to a terrific showing at the GBCA Southeast Regional. He announced that he would be moving to South Carolina from Texas in August of 2024, and since then, he has been a hot name in the Palmetto State. Ball does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor and will be a plug-and-play option with his frame, athleticism, and play style at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1172573' first='Ja'Quell' last='Brown'] - Dean (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='1474820' first='Broderick' last='Anderson'] - Maryville (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='1972148' first='Justus' last='Bell'] - Newberry (D2)

[player_tooltip player_id='1465116' first='Isaiah' last='Atkins'] - Maryville (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='1206191' first='Jake' last='Thomas'] - WVU Potomac State (JuCo)

[player_tooltip player_id='1847523' first='Jackson' last='Conley'] - SC Central Christian (USCAA), Wallace (JuCo), Coastal Alabama (JuCo), Southwestern (JuCo), United International (USCAA)

Conley is an intriguing name for College Coaches to know. While physically gifted and offensively skilled, Jackson doesn't always put it all together for significant stretches. If he finds the right coaching staff, play style, and development system, Conley has the potential to turn into a great player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1848084' first='Antwon' last='Young'] - Johnson & Wales (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='1645095' first='Will' last='Bush'] - Dean (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='1578651' first='MJ' last='Littlejohn'] - Johnson & Wales (D3), Dean (D3)

MJ's combination of length and shooting is what earned him offers from Johnson & Wales and Dean in June. At 6'6", he is able to see and shoot over defenses, while also impacting shots and deflecting passes on the other end. If Littlejohn can add the ability to score off the dribble, particularly when run off the three-point line, he could see a few more offers come in before it's time to make a decision.

[player_tooltip player_id='2078979' first='D'Marcus' last='Thomas'] - Dean (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='1848083' first='Talan' last='Staley'] - SC Central Christian (USCAA)

[player_tooltip player_id='2253482' first='Jordan' last='Brown'] - SC Central Christian (USCAA), Dean (D3), United International (USCAA)

UIC was the first to get in on Brown, then SCCC and Dean followed shortly after. Jordan is an athletic Guard who makes highlight plays at the rim at both ends of the floor. He is at his best when he is transition, but he can also spot-up for threes and guard his yard in the half-court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1738000' first='Kam' last='Smith'] - Dean (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='2289958' first='Jordan' last='Rouse'] - Vorhees (NAIA)

[player_tooltip player_id='2634954' first='Wallace' last='Campbell'] - North Greenville (D2)

[player_tooltip player_id='1970097' first='AJ' last='Jeter'] - Dean (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='1645097' first='Jaden' last='Gerald'] - Cape Fear (JuCo)

[player_tooltip player_id='2443450' first='Jamere' last='Singleton'] - Dean (D3), United International (USCAA)

Dean and UIC are Jamere's second and third offers after previously being offered by Volunteer State CC in May. College Coaches like Singleton's ability to play inside and out on the offensive end. He can set up shop in the low post and work with his back to the basket, stretch out to the corners to provide spacing, or take bigger matchups off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2354724' first='Jy'ell' last='Preston'] - Dean (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='2175529' first='Braydyn' last='Francis'] - SC Central Christian (USCAA), Southern Wesleyan (D2), Lees-McRae (D2)

Apart from SCCC, SWU, and Lees-McRae, Francis also holds an offer from Francis Marion. Many coaches think that, given a Redshirt year to learn the system and develop physically, Braydyn can turn into a key weapon down the line. I also subscribe to that theory, citing his shooting, passing, and ability to make winning plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='2456214' first='Ean' last='Mitchell'] - Dean (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='2614011' first='Kiauj' last='Allen'] - Florida State Coastal (D3), Dean (D3), Claflin (D2)

Allen had a strong Summer with Wilson High School and CPB. He plays bigger than his listed 6'4" height with a strong frame and solid athleticism. Kiauj is a true glue guy who will fit right in with the Tigers this Fall and could see minutes early on when he gets to College. He is also a vocal leader who communicates well with his teammates on and off the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2469371' first='Isaiah' last='Oree'] - Vorhees (NAIA)

[player_tooltip player_id='2376842' first='TJ' last='Troy'] - Dean (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='2486489' first='Jayden' last='Williams'] - Johnson & Wales (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='1731639' first='DJ' last='Harper'] - Vorhees (NAIA)

[player_tooltip player_id='2819112' first='Kaden' last='Palmer'] - Dean (D3), SC Central Christian (USCAA)

Kaden's name has started to have some buzz around it after some nice showings over the past two months. Palmer is a modern Forward who will provide spot-up three-point shooting and some skill in getting to the rim off the bounce. If he can add to his post game, Kaden will become a more complete offensive weapon and boost his stock more.

[player_tooltip player_id='2227535' first='Austin' last='Nesbit'] - Dean (D3)

[player_tooltip player_id='1303622' first='Bryson' last='Hardy'] - Dean (D3)

2027

[player_tooltip player_id='2405569' first='Sam' last='Mills'] - Presbyterian (D1)

[player_tooltip player_id='1982890' first='Colt' last='Fowler'] - Charleston Southern (D1), Wofford (D1)

Wofford joined the list of schools to offer Fowler late in July and is immediately one to watch given its proximity to home. He had a very good June with Byrnes, including a head-turning Live Event in North Augusta. Colt will be a contender for South Carolina Player of the Year this season, but despite the elite passing and shooting, some schools are still hesitant to join the race because of his size.

[player_tooltip player_id='2450993' first='Aaden' last='Bruton-Smith'] - Charleston Southern (D1)

[player_tooltip player_id='2469366' first='Carter' last='Jackson'] - Benedict (D2), SC State (D1), Vorhees (NAIA), Erskine (D2)

There were few prospects who had as productive of a June as Jackson. Thanks to monster performances at the USC Team Camp and the Phenom Hoops Team Camp, Carter earned four college offers across three levels. He is a well-rounded Point Guard who lifts the level of his teammates with high-level playmaking, scoring, and defense. Jackson looked to boost his game by playing up to the 17U Division in July with PCH, and will compete at the prestigious Crossroads Elite Invitational this weekend.

2028
