of Keenan High School in 3A Region 4. Broderick is an intriguing prospect who has shown great signs of development with the potential to be a nice pickup for a school. He averaged 7.1 Points Per Game and 4.5 Rebounds Per Game while shooting 50% from behind the arc. Anderson is a selective three-point shooter, but he is certainly a 3 & D Wing. Broderick defends at a high level with length to affect shots, force turnovers, and clean the glass. He is most used as a spot-up shooter, but Anderson is also a smart cutter and has good fundamentals when finishing near the rim. Broderick holds an offer from Francis Marion.

Broderick had a good summer on the Grassroots Circuit and played well this summer with the Raiders. The long and rangy forward has really worked on his perimeter skills over the past year. He plays very well away from the ball on both ends of the floor. Broderick averaged 7.1 ppg and 4.5 rebounds last season for the Raiders. Look for those numbers to increase this season with a few departures to the roster.

showed two different sides of his game on Wednesday at the Byrnes Summer Shootout and was the Raiders’ most consistent player in the event. In Game 1 against Dorman, he displayed his continued jump-shot improvement knocking down an early three and getting fouled on another to go with multiple elbow-area shots, finishing with 16 total points. In Game 2 against Riverside, Anderson was much more of an interior presence, hauling in 7 rebounds including turning a couple of those into second-chance points. However, in that second game, Broderick hit the most important shot of the contest from behind the arc – a go-ahead three with under a minute left to play.

Broderick is from my home coverage state of South Carolina and it has been really cool to watch him improve as a shooter. He has always had good size and long arms but the development of him as a consistent perimeter threat will take him to a new level as a prospect. The size and arms are important as a shooter because he can shoot over some matchups. He also has a very consistent shooting form. Anderson had multiple makes from behind the arc in both of the games I watched this weekend.
