had a handful of coaches from Francis Marion and USC Aiken in town to watch him on Monday night, and he definitely showed out. Bush was crucial in the first half, knocking down all three attempts from the perimeter. Will’s ability to catch and shoot at his size with a high release point is one of the things that make him so coveted by colleges, but when you mix in his strong footwork, soft touch, and big frame, Bush looks like he could be a very good player at the next level.

Bush was a big bright spot for Dorman in their loss to Habersham Central (GA) on Saturday. He was the only Cavalier to score in the first quarter, putting up 8 Points in the opening period including a three at the buzzer. He would go on to make three more perimeter shots in the game – several of which were well contested – showing off an ability to stretch the floor with his pure stroke and high release. Will also showed skill in working in the post and had a hook shot over each shoulder. On the defensive end, he was matched up with some true big men and he was strong to the task on most possessions. Bush tallied 18 Points and 8 Rebounds on the day.

Bush had a great showing at the SCBCA Elite Camp last month in North Charleston. He can play inside-out with his ability to knockdown shots out on the perimeter. Will has great mitts to catch anything thrown in his direction. He can finish over each shoulder and both hands around the cup.
Will made the move up from #38 to #29 this time around. He’s a good passer from interior and really understands on how to seal off defenders to receive entry passes down low.

Bush had a dominant performance for Upward Stars Upstate, putting up a 14-Point 11-Rebound Double-Double in a comfortable win. He made good use of his size advantage in the paint, showing an ability to score with a hook shot over either shoulder. Will also has a confident jumper and can be a viable pick-and-pop option. He even showed some impressive footwork and a high-level passing IQ to make him a well-rounded weapon on the offensive end. He didn’t take a step back on the defensive end, either. Bush has a big frame and will keep opposing bigs out of the paint and off the glass. To go with the Double-Double, Will blocked 2 shots and intimidated many more.
