About Peden
Expert Analysis

Breazeale might not be the flashiest name or prospect on this Cavalier roster, but he was the most important player on the floor in their win over Riverside last night. He was excellent on the defensive end of the floor, physically making life difficult for his matchup on every possession. In the second half, he started to get rewarded with more of the ball on the offensive end, where he displayed a comfort in hitting shots off the dribble and some creativity at the rim. Peden finished with 13 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals in the win.

Peden made the move from #57 to #37 with his play this spring and summer. The left-handed Breazeale brings consistency to the floor with his play. He runs on the Grassroots Circuit with Carolina Pressure .
Peden hits open shots when called upon and understands on how to run a team from out top. He’s quick to get to his spots on the floor and set up his teammates. Peden will look to attack the gaps and baseline. He will take a charge on command at times it seems. Peden isn’t flashy at all with his play, but he understands on how to deliver results.

Peden was terrific in the Spring with Carolina Pressure and picked up right where he left off with his High School Teammates on Wednesday. He is determined and usually effective at getting to his spots on the offensive end and will hit some tough mid-range jump shots. Breazeale also had some extremely strong downhill drives, getting to the free throw line twice early and also dumping off some nice passes to his big men. He moves around the court with good quickness and spring-like athleticism which are displayed with his defensive intensity. There are a lot of new faces with the Cavaliers, but you can count on the consistency and the familiar face of Breazeale in the backcourt this season.

was one of the biggest standouts regardless of age group on Saturday at the Phenom Memorial Day Classic. Peden will get to his spots on the offensive end regardless of his matchup and has a beautiful pull-up game. Brezeale doesn’t shy away from contact and balances facilitating and scoring well. He put up 12 points in a win over Carolina Raptors NXT, scoring both a game-tying jump shot in regulation and the game-winning free throw in sudden-death overtime.

Coming off a solid High School Season at Dorman High School, Breazeale is looking to get back into things with Carolina Pressure , one of the states more successful independent programs over the last couple of year. Peden is a guard that has a strong body and makes an impact on both ends of the floor. On offense, in particular, he has a knack for putting the ball in the basket with a nice mid-range game and an ability to finish with either hand. He has started brightly for CPB this Spring, so keep an eye on him as the season rolls on.

Breazeale is just another guard in the Cavaliers stable of players. Peden a left-handed guard really has a nice mid-range game in his arsenal. Peden really works to be a very solid on the ball defenders. Look for him to get good minutes this for the Cavaliers.
