Atkins showed flashes of his potential in the Bulldogs’ win over Westside. In the second quarter alone, Isaiah tallied 11 points and 5 blocks, dominating the game at the rim on both ends of the floor. At 6’9″, he is an elite shot blocker who can anchor a defense at the next level. However, it was the offensive part of the game that intriuged me the most. Atkins had several nice finishes including one from the dunker spot, one after a move with his back-to-the-basket, and one off a quick spin move.

Atkins had a monster game for the Bulldog to help them win the Sizzlin’ Summer Shootout Silver Bracket Championship. He put up a 20-Point 14-Rebound Double-Double and also added 3 Block. Isaiah was very active on both ends of the floor, working hard before the catch to get the interior position and spark his post game. He looked very polished turning over a shoulder or sealing and spinning into a layup. Atkins also was massive on the offensive glass tallying several second-chance points. Once Landrum started throwing bodies at him in the post, Isaiah also displayed an ability to pass out of the post to find an open teammate.

is one of the more intriguing big man prospects in South Carolina’s 2026 Class due to his length and athleticism. He was very good for Future Kings this weekend at Big Shots Carolina Live. Atkins is fundamentally sound with his persistence in keeping the ball high and away from defenders and his effectiveness from the dunker spot. Isaiah is also a very good rim protector and rebounder on the defensive end. He finished with 12 Points, 7 Rebounds, and 2 Blocks in a matchup with Team Accelerate.

Atkins continues to show his progress on the hardwood each time out. Isaiah likes to play face-up to the basket and was able to stick a few 17-19 foot jumpers down here today. He runs the floor well and fills the lane in transition. I would like to see him post up a bit more and work on some more back to the basket moves for down the road. He could turn out to be a nice pick and pop stretch 4 man down the road at the next level.
