The #1 Point Guard in South Carolina’s 2027 Class hit the ground running with his high school teammates after an AAU season where he saw an uptick in his recruitment. In game one, Colt racked up 21 points, 10 points, and 4 steals, while doing a good job of getting the newer faces around him involved. In game two, a high-paced encounter against another top-tier contender, he again proved why he is one of the best players in the state with 24 points and 10 points.

Colt had a special season for the Runnin’ Rebels, putting up insane night after insane night. His averages were as good as anyone in the state, even challenging some of the best in the nation as he went for 24.3 points and 10.8 assists a night. He will no doubt push for some remarkable records and have Byrnes right back in title contention in his senior season.

Colt stood out for the home Byrnes Runnin’ Rebels on Thursday. While he didn’t have his most efficient shooting performance, knocking down just four of his 12 attempts from three, Fowler did a good job of limiting turnovers and keeping his teammates involved. Colt tallied 9 assists to go with 20 points and 2 steals. He is extremely fast with the ball in his hands and can fit through tight windows on his way down the floor. Fowler also knows how to navigate big bodies in the paint with pump fakes, up-and-under finishes, and dump-off passes – all three of which were needed against a huge Raider unit.

Fowler plays the game at an extremely fast pace, pushing the ball after rebounds, turnovers, and made baskets almost all game long. He is a tremendous passer who sees passing lanes as they develop and puts his teammates in a good position to score. Colt is also a knockdown perimeter shooter and hit both of his attempts from behind the arc.
