Utah’s Fall Top 25

We will explain why as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#1 Wasatch Academy</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>WA has been the top dog in the state for a few years now but they have company at the top.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1532052' first='Isiah' last='Harwell']</strong> is back and healthy and still remains among the Top 10 players in the country. [player_tooltip player_id='1253127' first='Chris' last='Nwuli'] is also a top player in the country that has an impressive list of colleges he is choosing from and they continue to add players to their roster.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#1 Utah Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Utah Prep has been working overtime to add some impressive players. Aj Dybantsa, [player_tooltip player_id='1532662' first='JJ' last='Mandaquit'], [player_tooltip player_id='2540138' first='Jackson' last='Rassmussen'] along with [player_tooltip player_id='1278443' first='Anthony' last='Felesi'] just to name a few of their players. This team is going to be electric.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>High School Top 25</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#1 Orem</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If you haven't been paying attention Orem is the best team on paper right now. They have a player at each position and they also have players coming off the bench ready. Excited to see players like [player_tooltip player_id='2400280' first='Raider' last='Finau'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1724358' first='Troy' last='Kaufusi'] make their way into this loaded lineup. [player_tooltip player_id='1146666' first='Chamberlain' last='Burgess'], [player_tooltip player_id='1260479' first='Chance' last='Dastrup'], [player_tooltip player_id='1146661' first='Trey' last='Hiatt'], [player_tooltip player_id='1278444' first='Kai' last='Wesley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1164726' first='Jax' last='Allen'] is a crazy lineup. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#2 Timpview</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When [player_tooltip player_id='1278448' first='Dean' last='Rueckert'] is on a team, anything is possible but some of their guys do not get enough love, like, [player_tooltip player_id='1146660' first='Corbyn' last='Hansen'] an ultimate Glue Guy and even [player_tooltip player_id='1278505' first='Mason' last='Ford']. [player_tooltip player_id='1960161' first='Callen' last='Tollestrup'] has been a player that has improved a lot. [player_tooltip player_id='1278445' first='Aisa' last='Galeai'], Lincoln Holcomb and Will Openshaw can all play. Stay tuned the top two teams play twice and that atmosphere is going to be wild.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#3 Herriman</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It really seems like something special is brewing out in Herriman on the boys side. [player_tooltip player_id='2080687' first='Stockton' last='Blanchard'] and company have really made strides and they have a few new faces as well. [player_tooltip player_id='2304482' first='Alan' last='Gballou'] is an absolute stud in the paint. Albert Phillippe Ntungicimpye and [player_tooltip player_id='2410825' first='Anor' last='Wogar'] have turned so many heads at the college level. They will be tough to beat. Excited to see who they play this year in the pre-season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#5 Layton</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Layton seems to re-tool/reload every year and player like Sam Romar and [player_tooltip player_id='1724368' first='Karter' last='Miller'] make this team tough. They also have players like [player_tooltip player_id='1942223' first='Jonah' last='Fullmer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2244581' first='Josh' last='Checketts'] also make this team tough. Don't sleep on Layton!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#6 American Fork</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Watched this team play a lot this summer and they have some tough players that play a role and they seem to really relish that role. [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'] continues to take leaps into his development and the addition of [player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'] will allow [player_tooltip player_id='1724369' first='Jax' last='Oyler'] to have more open looks at the rim. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#7 Corner Canyon</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Do not dismiss this team Brytn Valdes and [player_tooltip player_id='1190621' first='Noah' last='Bendinger'] along with the likes of a few new players that will get more run like Deisel Dart and Mo Brown will help this team. Also, we are excited to see [player_tooltip player_id='1278437' first='Tyler' last='Mortensen'] and see what he has done in the lab. We think both of these players have D1 written all over them and that is always a game changer when you are trying to win tough games. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#9 Judge Memorial</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Judge is locked and loaded and they have such a fun and challenging schedule. They also added a stud incoming freshman. He has yet to hit his ceiling and he has been in the lab putting in work. They could surprise some teams</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#12 Alta</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Alta has a brand of basketball that is fun and free and that allows kids like [player_tooltip player_id='1278438' first='Dash' last='Reiser'] and Zak Paepke to play free. They have a new names that will emerge. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#13 Springville</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Springville can easily move up 3 or 4 stops with elite play. They will need more from [player_tooltip player_id='1278449' first='Mason' last='Hansen'], [player_tooltip player_id='1724426' first='Swift' last='Hall'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1243529' first='Andrew' last='Miller'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#14 Bingham</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bingham has a shot to really catch people off guard. [player_tooltip player_id='1278436' first='Luke' last='West'] wont because everyone knows who he is but they have some players that are coming up that will be much improved. Players like Parker Sneadecker, Jason Petersen and more. Stay tuned this team is better than they get credit for. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#15 Highland</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Highland has a group of guards that they can throw out on the floor at any time and get a lot of production from. Their lead guard is super tuff! [player_tooltip player_id='1278450' first='Isaiah' last='Drisdom'] is not only good but he is among the best in the state at his position. [player_tooltip player_id='1278440' first='Soren' last='Ries'] continues to come along as well. They have a chance to run teh region this year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#16 Westlake</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Westlake has a pair of guards that will be a killer duo as they will rely a lot on [player_tooltip player_id='1571770' first='Symon' last='Sua'] and Grayden Anderson. [player_tooltip player_id='1571764' first='Kyler' last='Hadfield'] has improved s lot too and they could be battling for that third spot in their region. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#17 Pleasant Grove</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Excited to see a new look PG. We have had a glimpse of them and they could sneak up on some teams. Excited to see the emergence of [player_tooltip player_id='1724363' first='Preston' last='White'], [player_tooltip player_id='2109153' first='Chaz' last='Rose'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1598261' first='Jaxon' last='Brown']. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#18 Mountain Ridge</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1409850' first='Will' last='Lindsay'] is a secret weapon over there at Mountain Ridge. This roster is made to win now and they have a chance with some programs being down in 6A. This could be it here. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#19 Davis</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1272410' first='Coleman' last='Atwater'] might have to go crazy at Davis. He has a lot of young players coming up but Atwater will need to be a do it all lead guard this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#20 Olympus</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Olympus has a lost a almost all of their scoring and will need a lot from [player_tooltip player_id='1278502' first='Gavin' last='Lowe'] and company. With a lot of players there is an opportunity to really shine and because Olympus always has some solid shooter and scorers stashed away, we will see who emerges. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#21 Brighton</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brighton might be among the most intriguing teams in the state with [player_tooltip player_id='1571744' first='Jaxon' last='Soto'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1272412' first='Bradley' last='Easton']. They have attacking ability and shooting ability between them both. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#22 Murray</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Murray might need to lead on [player_tooltip player_id='1439714' first='Isaiah' last='Beh'] a lot to score the ball and defend. He is a sleeper next level player that has solid two-way ability. New kid coming up that is also showing promise is [player_tooltip player_id='1724359' first='Madden' last='Johnsen'].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#24 American Heritage </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A of respect given to American Heritage early as they are lead by one o fthe best young PG's in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='2022332' first='Mana' last='Winitana']. He is surrounded by players that do a little bit of everything and a few shooters as well.
