Not only was he awarded Tournament MVP, but he earned it. He has come a long way from being a third option to becoming a primary player capable of scoring from anywhere on the court. Tollestrup is a no-brainer D2 prospect and would be a great addition to any school. As a stretch 4 who is getting stronger and faster, he has significant upside at the next level.
There is always room for a 6’8 wing that can shoot the lights out. Tollestrup is a talented player that an shoot from deep. With that shooting ability and if he is willing to play anywhere he could rack up an offer from a school looking for stretch 4’s. Tollestrup is a strong player that can be used in ball screen actions. He is a quick player that can speed screen and pop. He can ghost screen and work off of pin-downs and work teams that switch screens. Could see him finding a home at a D1.
If you’re looking for a player with size that can knock it down Tollestrup is a player you need to really look at. He is a forward that can set the screen and pop. You can use him on ghost screens and you can also use him to spread the floor as a catch and shoot threat. Really like him as a D1 NJCAA prospect but he is going ot have 4-year school chasing him.
