Buress at one point was just a player that had potential. Fast forward a few years and he has lived up to the potential and added a few skills along the way. It all started with Burgess simply going after every rebound and he activated a new motor to his game. That will to sacrifice his body for rebounds opened up opportunities finishing at the rim. He was able to get put back dunks and easy layups. Meanwhile Burgess was also working on his touch inside out as his midrange jumper at 15 feet was getting solid he took his game outside the paint and out in the perimeter. Burgess has become a true stretch 4/5. He will be a player that could excel at the next level.

Burgess has been a huge player for one of the best teams in the state in Orem. He protects the rim, he can switch off and defend almost every position 1-5 and the kid can step out and shoot the ball. Burgess has even added a midrange off the bounce to his bag as well. He is one of the top players in the country and not for how many points he scores but for how he impacts a game on both ends at the highest level.

Burgess has become one of the highest stock rising players and that exposure he has been getting on the 3SSB Circuit and on his high school program has really made the difference as he has earned his 4 stars. Burgess is a stretch forward that can play center. Reminds you of another local kid in Braden Carlson as they both can step out and shoot the ball and rotate well and jump well as rim protectors. A lot of upside and he will hit campus in 2027.

Burgess is heading to BYU and he will likely get there after a two year mission. He has really made a huge jump and he is a player that has sealed the deal on one of the hottest basketball programs in the country.
BYU is getting a player that can stretch the floor and he is a kid with a high ceiling as he will put on some muscle and just imprve his all around game but look for him to be that stretch big that BYU has had in previous years.

Chamberlain showcased his mobility as a big, making a strong impact as a shot blocker and rebounder on both ends of the floor. He displayed versatility by not only passing well but also stretching the floor with his shooting range out to the 3-point line. Additionally, Burgess effectively utilized his quickness on the perimeter to take opposing bigs off the dribble and create numerous scoring opportunities.
