Expert Analysis
Hector Marquez | Prep Hoops Scout
Allen has a few offers on the table but he is a high rising player. His development has taken off and he is better than many give him credit and it is due to his high ceiling still. Give this kid two more years and he is going to be that much better. His handle is stronger and his shootning is better.

Allen has really made some impressive strides in his strength and athleticism. He is ahead of his brother in development at this point in their careers and his brother will start at Utah State University. The ease that he is elevating above the rim now is impressive and his handle has surely improved and he still has a high ceiling and has yet to reach his potential. He is a player that will continue to rack up offers.

Jax displayed his strength and confidence as a combo/lead guard, effectively balancing scoring and playmaking responsibilities. He’s a 3-level scorer who frequently gets to the free throw line, showing a willingness to attack defenses aggressively. Allen’s unselfish play, paired with his good passing vision and strong physical tools, makes him a well-rounded offensive threat.

this kid really moves the needle defensively. Allen can chase down defenders from 1-3 and his length and mobility allow him to not have ot play up so high. His reach helps him play in the lanes and off ball he is a superior help defender. He will be among the best go to player stoppers in the state.

Allen went to the lab after last season and he has transformed his game and he has been playing with a lot of confidence and he is just starting to get to a level of play that is going to help him rack up more offers. He will head back to Orem High School with some hardware and will also be rated the top dog in 5A.
