Expert Analysis
Hector Marquez | Prep Hoops Scout
Hiatt might be a sleeper in this class as he is well known but a bit under the radar due to all the talent on his high school team. Next level hybrid player that can play the 3 and the 4.

Hiatt has been impressive early with that ability to play in multiple positions and be impactful. He could be a big time get for an NWAC school that is out here in the West, but he could also be a solid get at the D2 level as well.

Trey showed off a strong combination of size, strength, and mobility as a big man, showing a high rebounding motor and solid off-ball movement. He exhibited good touch around the basket and was a versatile, competitive defender who can guard multiple positions. Hiatt also excelled as a rim runner and was effective in transition, adding to his all-around impact on the game.

I think Hiatt is a very skilled wing. He reads the defense well and he finds pockets to be impactful, even if it’s to simply move the defense or take the defense with him. He is a good passer and he can rebound well. He is solid in th post with his back to the basket and when he is needed to shoot the ball he has a soft jumper.
