Dastrup is on a team loaded with talent and a bit of his scoring might have to take a backseat this season but his assist should go up drastically. Dastrup will have wings and post players he will need to help get the ball too and if his sharp passing continues to evolve he could e one of the best passing guards in the state.

His pocket passing and pitch ahead lead passes really impact the game as he is a payer that should be among the best assist guys in the state.

Lefty point guard, Chance Dastrup Chance Dastrup Chance Dastrup 5'11" | PG Orem | 2025 State UT displayed exceptional court vision and dime-dropping passing abilities. Dastrup rarely looked to create his own shot, instead he thrived within the offense’s structure, focusing on setting up his teammates first. As the orchestrator of the offense, he has a knack for providing his scorers and big men with clean looks at the basket, spotting openings the instant the ball touches his hands. His ball skills and decision making were also evident in his ability to execute bounce passes from the wing to the block, as well as delivering accurate skip passes to open teammates on the perimeter.
