A talented wing that’s got great potential. He’ll be a Junior this year and most likely Woods Cross’ best player. His handle has really improved over the offseason and that should translate to a lot easier baskets for this kid. He’s got the athleticism to dominate on both sides of the ball once again. Excited to watch him more during the season and see how he handles being a go-to option in a stacked region again.

Excited about what Johnsen is going to do this July as his stock continues to move upward. Johnsen is turning into more of a wing than a forward the way he is shooting and handling the ball. He will be huge for WX come high school season and till then watch him on the EYBL circuit play both ways.

Let’s start things off with Mr. Johnsen as he was slicing through the defense with precision and at times he made it looks easy. Johnsens ability to just put the ball on the floor and get a step on the defense was on display and he could also go to a secondary move when he needed to. A lot of patience and quality shooting for him as well. The youngster had a wow performance that helped his team move on.

Johnsen has taken his game to a new level this season. He has been a threat out on the floor all over and he is a 10,3 and 3 player which means he is seeing the floor well and he is playing well off the ball. He will need to continue to do a little bit of everything.
