It's natural that there's a rivalry between the two biggest metro areas in Oklahoma, with the edge often going to the 405. Oklahoma City's metro area has a natural population advantage along with more of a focus on basketball, compared to the football powerhouses that dominate the big schools in Tulsa. The Class of 2026 appears to be a group that the 918 could have an edge on the 405, making this debate all the more interesting for these prospects. So why not vote on a hypothetical match up between the best Class of 2026 prospects from each metro?

The teams were decided with a mixture of using the rankings along with a team building aspect. For example, the Class of 2026 in Oklahoma City is deeper with guard play. So when filling out the depth for then rosters, there was more of a focus on prospects with size in Oklahoma City to balance out the squad and match up with Tulsa's taller prospects.

Voting run throughs Friday morning, when a follow up article breaking down the teams and more will be posted.

Team 918

Starting 5

[player_tooltip player_id='1783190' first='Isaac' last='Sanders'] - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='1552362' first='Boden' last='Williams'] - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='1552349' first='Julius' last='Wilson'] - Wing

[player_tooltip player_id='1552319' first='Jalen' last='Montonati'] - Wing-Forward

[player_tooltip player_id='1655627' first='Miles' last='Flemons'] - Forward

Key Contributors

[player_tooltip player_id='1552318' first='Rickey' last='Bruner III'] - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='1987392' first='Evan' last='Goodwin'] - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='1552317' first='Fabian' last='Harris'] - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='2213327' first='Carter' last='Mardis'] - Forward

Team 405

Starting 5

[player_tooltip player_id='1783189' first='Isaiah' last='Wilks'] - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='2223689' first='Jayden' last='Hopkins'] - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='1674932' first='Andrew' last='Harris'] - Wing

[player_tooltip player_id='1552344' first='Nate' last='Muriithi'] - Wing-Forward

[player_tooltip player_id='1552378' first='Phoenix' last='Woodson'] - Forward

Key Contributors

[player_tooltip player_id='1552391' first='DeShawn' last='Denson II'] - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='1552384' first='Kaden' last='Leache'] - Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='1552375' first='Davon' last='Chaffin'] - Guard-Wing

[player_tooltip player_id='1987385' first='Kai' last='Ellis'] - Wing/Forward

Make your voice heard with a vote below by Friday morning!
