From snaking his way all the way to the rim for tough scores, to dropping nice dimes. Often with on the money reads via bounce passes. The quick and speedy guard’s tempo pushing ability is paired well with his stop on the dime jumpers in mid-range and from three. A senior guard who has steadily improved and will be looking to lead East Central to glory in 5A.

Bruner III has stepped into a big role for his new school and elevated his game this month. In a crucial win against district foe Shawnee, he had 29 points. The compact and quick guard is a problem with his pull up jumper and ability to stop on a dime. Along with the explosive scoring game against Shawnee, he had 18 in a tournament title game against host squad Lincoln Christian School. This weeks presents a playoff type test, against a variety of squads at a sneaky good Old Fort Classic in Fort Gibson.

A quick guard with the background of a coach’s son, “Tre” is expected to be the beating heart for potential 5A contender East Central. He’s a cerebral guard, who often will make the right decision and run the show. But don’t sleep on his scoring punch. With his quickness, he can get defenders on skates. Which really showcases his effective old school mid-range game. Mix in the ability to hit from long distance and Bruner III has a chance to continue to rise while leading the Cardinals.

Bruner III inclusions in this article is more for his work in the mid-range. As early in a contest against Broken Arrow, the quick BTW guard was cooking in 15-18 range with pull up jumpers. That range also extended to beyond the arc with the occasional three. It’s a promising start for the skilled and quick lead guard, as he gears up for a big junior season as part of Booker T Washington’s deep guard depth.
