has emerged as a formidable interior presence for Regis Jesuit. Standing at 6’3″ and primarily operating as a power forward or center, Hasselbach has quickly adapted to the physical demands of 6A Continental League play. Hasselbach’s impact is most visible in the paint, where he utilizes his frame and high motor to anchor the Raiders’ defense and control the boards. Throughout the season, he has shown steady growth as a versatile finisher around the rim and a reliable rim protector, contributing to a Regis Jesuit squad that has maintained a competitive presence in the state rankings. Hasselbach’s development as a mobile big man with a strong fundamental base makes him a key piece of the Raiders’ frontcourt rotation for the years to come.

Hasselbach may begin the year on JV, but don’t let that fool you, the stock is worth buying early. He plays older than a freshman, attacks the glass, finishes with touch. He also is a player who impacts the game defensively with active hands and presents as a versatile defender. His motor never dips and I am excited to see how it translates to varsity as he dominated his age group. As his scoring range expands to the mid-range and 3-point shooting, his two-way value will rise quickly across the conference as well. Check in on him at the end of the year and I bet he makes a jump based on what we’ve seen from him.

Hasselbach continues to prove himself as a force around the glass. Offensively he shows great touch in close with solid footwork and the ability to consistently finish at the rim. On the other end he shines with active hands, creating deflections and forcing turnovers. His defensive presence makes him a player who can always impact the game, even when he’s not scoring. For his development the focus will be on expanding his scoring range. Growing a reliable mid range jumper and stretching out to the perimeter will keep defenses honest and make him a more versatile weapon. If he can add that dimension to his offensive game while continuing to build as a defensive stopper, Hasselbach has the tools to become an even more complete two way player this season

Hasselbach was a force to be reckoned with on the interior. His combination of footwork and body control made him nearly impossible to stop in the paint, as he scored at will against defenders. What really elevated his game was his touch from mid range and his ability to float shots over bigger defenders—showcasing a versatile offensive arsenal. On the defensive end, his active hands and impressive length disrupted passing lanes, altered countless shots, and helped him clean the glass with authority
