He’s very active defensively as he has good size and length and uses it on that end of the floor. Hulse is a physical defender who presses up on opponents. He moves well and is fluid, and that allows him to step onto guards at times as well. Offensively, he fills in gaps and doesn’t specialize in one specific area, which is why he could be one of the more versatile players in this class with high two-way upside. Hulse has a silky smooth component to his game, getting to his spot around the mid-range and deep frying his opponents on offense. Hulse times his jumps well on defense and constantly battles for rebounds on the blocks. Slithering to the rim, Hulse has a multitude of moves that he uses to convert on difficult layups over defenders.
