Pruitt made a name for himself last season with his relentless defense, physicality and an ability to hound and force turnovers on opposing guards. He consistently brought energy and pressure on every possession, earning valuable varsity minutes. What excites us most heading into the Sophomore ID Camp is the growth of his offensive game. We have seen that he has begun to show flashes of becoming a much more complete player, attacking with confidence, making better decisions and proving he can impact the game on both ends of the floor

Pruitt has been the engine on the JV team, producing efficiently while making his presence felt defensively and I expect him to earn some varsity minutes int he second half. He pressures the ball, creates turnovers, and plays with consistent energy on both ends. His confidence has grown as the season has progressed, and his 17-point outing showed what happens when he’s aggressive. He’s trending toward varsity minutes and should be a player to know moving forward. 

Pruitt had a solid all around showing, but it was his offensive game that really stood out. He didn’t need the ball in his hands to make things happen. His movement off the ball was top-tier, constantly finding gaps in the defense, slipping into open spots, and creating looks without forcing anything. Defensively he brought just as much energy and intensity. He was super active always keeping his hands up and staying engaged. Pruitt disrupted shooters, got into passing lanes, and made it tough for opponents to get into any rhythm. It was his two way effort that really elevated his team’s performance
