Expert Analysis
Duvalier Johnson | Prep Hoops Scout
Chambers is an intriguing prospect because of the versatility he can bring to Discovery Canyon on both ends of the floor. He’s a playmaking wing with good size, athleticism and the ability to defend multiple positions, and we believe those traits alone should help him earn meaningful minutes this season. We’ve seen him move well defensively, stay active and make opposing players uncomfortable with his length and effort. He’s also an unselfish prospect who looks to make the right play and I feel that Discovery Canyon will look to run the offense through him at times. What we’re looking for now is more consistent production and a willingness to assert himself when opportunities present themselves. Chambers has the physical tools and overall feel to become an important contributor, and this season should be an opportunity to show that he belongs among the players worth watching in the conference.
