About Chris

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Rebounds win games. I don't mind being a support player but can step up to any role at any time. Team Play = Team Success.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Listen more then talk, Actions are louder than words, Constant Improvement

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Coach in the 7070 middle school/elementary school open leagues. Also assist in coaching the 7070 Elite Girls 14U team for the past 3 years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Currently employed at Rosies Diner as a busser training to be server. For the diner to be successful we all have to do our part as well as help each other when needed. Being a coach also has helped me see that side of the coin in basketball.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Freshman year in HS I had extremely limited playing time which motivated me to work harder. I increased self-development on and off court. It taught me patience and to improve every opportunity and every aspect possible.

What type of college are you looking for?

Somewhere where I can grow academically and athletically. Grades are important but real-life application is just as important. Basketball is a big part of what I would love to do side by side with attaining my degree.

Perez made a noticeable impact with his defensive intensity and presence around the rim. He kept his hands active, contested every shot and used his awareness and length to disrupt opponents making it tough for them to score in the paint. On the boards he was relentless, securing rebounds on both ends and quickly turning them into scoring opportunities for his team. Offensively Perez contributed with strong put backs, smart positioning and reliable short range shots. His combination of defense, rebounding and efficient scoring around the rim made him a steady two way contributor who consistently impacted the game in multiple areas
