Lafayette vs Frankfort:

The opening game features one of the best "under the radar" Seniors in the state in [player_tooltip player_id='2403795' first='Tyler' last='Hunt'] of Lafayette. He and Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2960464' first='Ben' last='Marsh'] have teamed up for over 30 points per game this season. The Generals are riding a 5 game win streak into their game on Saturday. Frankfort is one of the youngest teams in the state but they have one of the best young back courts in the 11th region. Freshmen Toma "Jelly" Washington and [player_tooltip player_id='2921335' first='Rajon' last='Floyd'] are going to provide a lot of trouble for the Lafayette backcourt. Fellow Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2890961' first='Cam' last='Crocker'] can get hot from deep in a hurry, too.

Dunbar vs Louisville Collegiate:

Dunbar is led by Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1874791' first='Cage' last='Taylor']. Taylor is averaging over 20 points per game in his last five and has been shooting the ball well, too. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2888486' first='Cameron' last='Hobson'] and Senior [player_tooltip player_id='2823414' first='Valentyne' last='Blevins'] are both capable of double figure scoring games too. Collegiate is led by Seniors Neal Wantye and Zac Tossou. They combine to average 31 points per game. Freshman Mac Tossou and Junior Scott Davis are both capable of getting 10+ any game as well.

Ashland vs Montgomery County:

This matchup is loaded with talent. [player_tooltip player_id='2529539' first='Andrew' last='Terry'], [player_tooltip player_id='2026991' first='Tyce' last='Jarvis'] and newly eligible [player_tooltip player_id='2194461' first='Austin' last='Sears'] all hold multiple D1 offers for Montgomery County. Ashland counters with [player_tooltip player_id='2809202' first='Caleb' last='Clarke'], [player_tooltip player_id='1543583' first='Drew' last='Smith'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1745587' first='Elijah' last='Neel']. The X-Factor in this matchup could be Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2869959' first='Alijah' last='Owens']. Owens was recently ranked in the top 5 in the state in our 2029 rankings update. There is no shortage of offensive firepower in this matchup.

Woodford County vs Madison Central:

Madison Central has one of the top ranked teams in the state, depending on where you look. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2726831' first='Jake' last='Feldhaus'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1543614' first='Luke' last='Asher'] are joined by Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2454751' first='Grayson' last='Burton'] to make one of the best three man groupings in the state. Woodford will attempt to match them with Junior [player_tooltip player_id='2046738' first='Omari' last='Jointer'], newly eligible Senior [player_tooltip player_id='2403432' first='David' last='Chong'] and Junior Wyatt Peters. The finale of the day is another that should have plenty of points scored.
