Clarke was plugged in at the bottom of our rankings in our last update as a placeholder. Now that we’ve been able to see him some, Caleb moves up 170 spots from 221 to 51 overall. Already committed to Culmberland in TN, Clarke is in the mix to be a top Senior in the 16th region.

Clarke has added several non-D1 offers in the last few months and looks to be firmly in the mix as the best Senior in the region this year. In order for Ashland to make it 8 straight regional championships, Caleb will need to help carry Ashland in life after Zander Carter.

Clarke looks ready to take that next step as a forward who can do a little bit of everything offensively for his team. I was really impressed with some of the left-handed finishes Clark had were really tough. I’ve also been impressed with Clark’s improved 3-point shooting and his overall motor and production since becoming a primary option. Strong small college target from eastern Kentucky.

The gameplan for Boyd County was to leave Clarke open from 3-point range and make him beat you from the perimeter. It was a gamble that didn’t pay off as Clarke knocked down four first half 3-pointers and was the Tomcats most reliable offense in the halfcourt. Clarke would take his time and shoot with confidence and accuracy, an impressive achievement as Boyd Country was giving up those looks willingly. Clarke also ran the floor and had a sweet reverse layup and overall was engaged on both ends of the court. A name to know in the 16th region’s 2026 class.
