Expert Analysis

Rajon is one of the best lead guards in this class because of his quick first step and advanced finishing package at the rim. Still not a knockdown shooter yet, Floyd is a good enough shooter to keep defenses honest. Perhaps my favorite aspect of his game is Floyd’s vision and passing. At his best in an open court setting, Rajon is a top guard in this class.

It’s early but Rajon is one of my favorite prospects in this class. Mostly because he’s a pure point guard in a class full of scoring guards. Floyd is both quick and fast and lives in the paint on offense. Rajon is also more than capable of clamping down on the defensive end, too. I look forward to monitoring his development as he should be one of the top young players in the 11th region this season.

is a poised point guard with a natural feel that stands out right away. He dictates the pace of the game with confidence, showing excellent vision and the ability to consistently put teammates in scoring positions. Defensively, he plays with high energy and activity, using his quick hands to force turnovers and create transition opportunities. On the offensive end, Floyd’s tight handle and burst allow him to get into the lane whenever he chooses, and he has the ability to completely take over stretches of a game.

Rajon is the definition of a true point guard. He had a smoothness to his game that you can not teach. He played at his own pace, had elite vision. He played extremely hard on defense totaling multiple deflections and steals. Rajon can easily take over any game when he wants. He nearly had a triple double in his 2nd game. Frankford has a legit 1-2 punch with him and

Floyd is a player that I had seen film on numerous times but it was all from 2024. After seeing him in person, Rajon has the “it” factor for sure. A smooth ball handler with quick twitch, the game looks easy for Floyd. He’s able to get into the paint about any time he wants to. I didn’t see him shoot much from distance because he didn’t really have to. He looks like a top prospect in the class, both in the long and short terms.

Already holding a D1 offer, Floyd is a player I’ve only seen on film so far. I’m looking forward to catching him live tomorrow. Rajon looks both quick and fast and could be the best freshman in the 11th region this year.

It’s been pretty quiet in the 8th region but Floyd should be an impact player for Woodford County this season. He earned a D1 offer as an 8th grader about this time last year and will be tasked with helping run a Woodford team that was hit hard by graduation. I’ve not personally seen Rajon play but his film is impressive and he’ probably going to be handed the keys to the Yellow Jackets offense on day one.
