Jelly has really impressed me on multiple occasions. And not just because he scored double figures against my team last season (twice). In this update, Washington moves from 40th to 30th and is continuing to trend upward. A driver first and shooter second, Toma probably needs to be more of a point guard as he moves forward. Wherever he plays, Jelly is going to play hard and that’s what I really appreciate about him. His motor runs at almost all times and he values winning.

Washington is a high level scorer that can use an array of moves to get into the paint and finishes well when he gets there. He’s got to continue improving his three point shooting in the long term and point guard may be the best natural position for him. Capable of guarding his man on the defensive end, Jelly is a player to keep an eye on in the 11th region.

Jelly is a crafty guard on one of the youngest teams in Kentucky. Frankfort is super young, starting three Freshmen. While Rajon Floyd Rajon Floyd 6'0" | PG Frankfort | 2029 State KY handles the ball a lot of the time, Washington has proved to be a very capable secondary option who can drive the ball and score or create open looks for teammates. While he’s not yet a great shooter, Jelly should continue to improve over the rest of his career.

Frankfort is maybe the youngest team in the KHSAA but they are very talented. Rajon Floyd Rajon Floyd 6'0" | PG Frankfort | 2029 State KY and Cam Crocker Cam Crocker 6'3" | SF Frankfort | 2029 State KY were more known players heading into the season but Toma Washington is starting to make a name in his own right. While he has struggled to make a ton of shots from range this year, “Jelly” is excelling at getting downhill and attacking the paint. As he gets stronger and finishes through contact more, Washington will only get more dangerous.
