About Tyler

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strengths are my unselfishness and defensive instincts. I love getting the ball to the open teammate with a quick sharp pass, and I will take any defensive assignment.

What are you working to improve right now?

I need to improve my strength, and shooting from the perimeter.

What are you looking for in a college program?

A coach who will challenge me, but understand no one is harder on me than myself.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I will do whatever is asked of me without complaint, and I am coachable, respectful, and have a team mindset whether it is a tourney game or pickup game.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I am interested in Business.

Tyler had a solid freshman season for Jackson County, putting up 6.3 PPG on nearly 50% shooting from the field in addition to securing 4.4 RPG. He defends his position well, using his length to disrupt passing lanes in the half court. He also has a knack for protecting the paint without fouling. Already capable in catch-and-shoot situations, I’m interested to see how effective Tyler can be with shot creation this Sunday.
