Who is going where you need to know for the 2025-26 season? We tell you what we feel strongly about so far!

Keep in mind, there are as many "he was going to go there but now he may not be" and "he was going here but now we think he is going here" and "he was going to go there but he can't" as there have been transfers that are certain out there right now. But the transfers listed below have been told to us by a coach of a school, by the parent of the athlete, or the athlete themselves.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126442' first='Bennett' last='Cizadlo'] to Maple Grove (from Totino-Grace). This is more of a reminder, Bennett played for the Crimson JV last year but he will be eligible this year and is one of the reasons that expectations are so high at Maple Grove this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2575638' first='Izayah' last='Cook'] to Wayzata (from Sauk Rapids-Rice). Cook has a lot of scoring potential as he produced 16 plus points a game for a top ten team last year as a sophomore. The [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] have four starters back from a title team including the top two prospects in the 2026 so scoring is not a need but more depth and talent never hurt and Cook will make this an even deeper team in 25-26.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560824' first='Deangelo' last='Dungey'] to Totino-Grace (from Breck). The Eagles return two starters in [player_tooltip player_id='2126117' first='Malachi' last='Hill'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1560740' first='Dothan' last='Ijadimbola'] plus key reserves [player_tooltip player_id='1895712' first='Daniel' last='Zoa'], [player_tooltip player_id='1560835' first='Tian' last='Chatman'], [player_tooltip player_id='2126166' first='Jaylan' last='Hynes'], [player_tooltip player_id='1956268' first='Shay' last='Jackson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2119585' first='Luther' last='Bunge']. Dungey was a double figure scorer for Breck last year and I'd expect him to offer depth to an already potent line-up.

[player_tooltip player_id='2416947' first='Ayden' last='Green'] to Minnehaha Academy (from Breck). Green was a nice depth piece for Breck last year as a sophomore on a state team and now he heads to the Hawks where Ayden will be the likely starting lead guard. Green will also be one of the top five players in Section 4AA and he has a chance to get the Hawks back to state for the 10th straight year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560786' first='Lexyn' last='Grof'] to Holy Family (from Jordan). The Fire are returning four starters and now those four starters (which includes [player_tooltip player_id='2140617' first='Geno' last='Ward'], [player_tooltip player_id='1213758' first='Andrew' last='Coleman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140577' first='Carson' last='Kuchenbecker']) will be joined by a wing scorer that had 23 points per game as a junior. Grof is a sharp shooter and his addition makes the Fire the 5AA favorite and a top ten, maybe top five team in Class AA.

[player_tooltip player_id='2519956' first='Sullivan' last='Hall'] to Jackson County Central (from Iowa). The 6'10 center will be a senior and he moved to JCC from Iowa. Hall averaged a double-double last season and he will give JCC one of the biggest line-ups not just in Class AA but in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560739' first='Max' last='Iversen'] to Maple Grove (from Delano). The NDSU commit is moved and enrolled and good to go for the Crimson which strengthens that state team that was already returning two of their top three players. The Crimson are a title contender as Iversen is one of the best shooters, scorers in the state and he spent the summer playing with top Crimson player [player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'].

[player_tooltip player_id='2561052' first='Chase' last='Maetzold'] to Chaska (from Mayer Lutheran). Chase was a solid player at Mayer Lutheran as a freshman and now he is a 6'6 forward that is coming off of a nice 15u season with [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']. Day by day this summer Chaska is looking a bit better and now they seem like an even deeper team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126145' first='Waleed' last='Muhammad'] to Richfield (from Breck). Waleed averaged double figures as a sophomore for a state tournament team and now he joins [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] AAU teammates [player_tooltip player_id='2412724' first='Dre' last='Collins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140700' first='Tyrece' last='Hagler'] on a Richfield team that we already had as a top five team in Class AAA basketball entering the season. Waleed will make this junior class even stronger.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874906' first='Kyree' last='Nelson'] to Hopkins (from Chicago). Nelson was once a freshman in St. Paul at Cretin-Derham Hall I believe but he moved to Illinois for two years. While at Illinois playing for Simeon, Nelson made himself a top 20-25 prospect in the state of Illinois. Now Nelson will be a key player for a top five Hopkins team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874917' first='Micah' last='Nwachukwu'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1874853' first='Ikenna' last='Nwachukwu'] to St. Cloud Apollo (from St. Cloud Cathedral). Micah scored 13-14 a game for Cathedral last year while Ikenna averaged about seven points a game. The twins will head to Apollo giving the team backcourt scoring punch and likely make Apollo an 8AAA contender along with Willmar and Sartell.

Marquise Poncelot to New Ulm (from North Lakes Academy). Poncelot was a key scorer for North Lakes but with his father taking the coaching job at New Ulm obviously his son moves with. Marquise will join some good young players at New Ulm which should make them a solid to good team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2524650' first='Kwatamah' last='Silikpoh'] to Park Center (from Champlin Park). The junior guard ended last season on the Park Center bench and this year he will be one of the Pirate best players. Pound for pound talent wise, Kwat is one of the most talented guards in the state.
