The Big Stage had a lot of young talent playing on The Big Stage and here is what we saw!

[player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'] of Maple Grove (6'5, Sophomore). Ann does so much for his team. He hit three threes, played quality defense, grabbed six boards, blocked a couple shots and moved the ball for five assists in a morning win over Eden Prairie. For a young player, Ann's focus each possession is my favorite part of his game. Mistakes are limited, effort is high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126117' first='Malachi' last='Hill'] of Totino-Grace (5'11, Sophomore). Not the best game from Hill but he still made his impact creating with four assists, grabbing four boards, scoring four baskets, and defending on the ball with a ton of effort.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560534' first='Tre' last='Moore'] of Hopkins (5'11, Freshman). Tre played with maybe the most fun energy of anybody I saw on Saturday. He pressured the ball with intensity and success and he was a menace off the ball getting steals and deflections. Also added 13 points slashing to the cup.

[player_tooltip player_id='2420169' first='Ahmed' last='Nur'] of Hopkins (6'9 Sophomore). Nur hit a three, scored twice at the rim, grabbed six boards, blocked a few shots and continues to give Hopkins something in the paint they did not have last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2137323' first='Carter' last='Pulrang'] of Eden Prairie (6'1 Sophomore). Carter is a consistent guard for the Eagles that has moved into their rotation immediately this season and is growing as a player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126094' first='Ty' last='Schlagel'] of Cretin-Derham Hall (6'7 Sophomore). When it comes to a shooting touch at his size, few have what Ty does. Even more impressive is his footwork getting into makes from so many angles. The amount of touch shots he made against contesting hands stands out. Ty had 18 points on 7 of 12 shooting with six rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1895712' first='Daniel' last='Zoa'] of Totino-Grace (6'5 Freshman). Zoa in the paint did exactly what his team needed: finish all touches around the basket and rebound. He scored on all five touches near the rim, hit both foul shots, and grabbed eight rebounds. He's a strong, athletic five man and right now scoring a dozen near a double-double is all they need from him, and he did it well.
