I’ve seen Carter excel as a scorer in the past, and he still did on Sunday, but it was his improvements as a facilitator that really stood out. Carter is a creative ball handler who can get into dangerous areas while keeping his eyes scanning the floor. Against Minnetonka he was able to beat his initial defender and either score on his own, or quickly locate an open man if a help-side defender stepped up on him. Showed some flair with two behind the back passes leading to buckets for his team. Don’t be surprised to see him breakout this winter as a junior.

Carter took over in a win for Northstar Titans . He connected with six three-pointers, showing a lot of confidence from the perimeter. He was doing most of his damage out of the catch-and-shoot, being a go-to kick out option for teammates’ passes. He was letting it fly from well beyond the arc, as he was taking advantage of defenders not having a hand in his face at all times.
