Fury fell behind early on as they struggled to contain Team Warwick’s massive frontcourt, but Nolan ended up stepping up and coming up big for them down the stretch. He wasn’t afraid to play physical while giving up height and weight down on the block, and did a great job of positioning himself to prevent post-entry passes to his man as the game went on. Offensively he found ways to move without the ball to create some easy looks at the rim, while also forcing opposing bigs to guard him out on the perimeter. Guys 6’8+ didn’t want to move their feet with him beyond the arc, and it allowed Nolan to find pockets of space for a few threes to push his team to the win.

Greene competes for a talented and balanced Minnesota Fury Club that beatTeam Warwick in the afternoon session at Hopkins. Nolan was instrumental in his team’s success with his versatile skillset. Greene, who attends Lakeville South, is a strong and athletic finisher that is also capable of drilling perimeter triples. I was impressed with how Greene utilizes his strong and long frame to finish with ease at the rim. Nolan runs the floor well in transition and is able to finish layups by running end to end. I was impressed with Greene’s ability to guard a variety of matchups on the defensive end as well.

Even playing up at the 17u level, Nolan just finds ways to get good looks at the rim. His combination of size, strength, and footwork at a young age helps him create angles to score with efficiency around the basket. Whether it’s with his back to the basket, out of the pick & roll, or stepping in from the dunker spot, Nolan just finds ways to get the ball around the rim. He does a great job of playing off two feet, getting defenders in the air with shot fakes, and utilizing his footwork to create good finishing angles. He helped lead his Fury team to an opening night win playing up in the 17u bracket.
