Oakland, who was on the losing end of the game winner on Friday night, showed who he is as a player despite trailing for most of the game, and that was a guy not letting up, no matter the score. Oakland and his squad were not shooting the best to start the game. As the game continued, he didn’t let that impact his effort, whether that was getting his hand in a passing lane or driving to the rim. At one point in the second half, during his Fury team’s comeback, he had a tough layup at the rim and then drew a foul in the same spot the next possession. The two things one can control are their attitude and effort, and Oakland kept them at 100 all game.

Oakland exploded for a 23-point first half in a Saturday game. The combo guard moves with a ton of confidence and can score from anywhere on the floor. Oakland is very smooth as a ball-handler and scorer, and plays with a bounce in his step. He shares much of the lead guard responsibilities and does so well. Oakland has an extended range, shoots it with good mechanics, and can stay hot once he’s found his groove.

He is an explosive ball player with the heart of a lion. Oakland puts his team first and gives great effort on both sides of the ball. He shoots and hits from anywhere on the court and is the spark of the team as of late.
