Fury Hibbs was led this weekend (and other weekends) by this Lakeville South guard that was a key JV guy last season and should step into a key varsity spot this year if ready.

Is he ready? Oliver will have to prove that but he’s played exceptionally well this 16u season including this past weekend. The lefty knocked out a few threes each game but he scored over 20 points a game using that crafty basket attack that led to traffic finishes time and time again. A guy on our radar for the winter in the South Suburban.

I really like the craftiness the Villalobos plays with. The combo guard plays at his own speed and has excellent body control as he maneuvers up the court. Villalobos can control the game as both a scorer and facilitator. This combination allows him to pick defenses apart from the opening tip to the final buzzer. Villalobos also has great footwork and ball control.
