Upper Dublin vs. Reading

The trio of shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1269299' first='Ryan' last='Mulroy'] (1st Team All-SOL selection), floor general [player_tooltip player_id='1888851' first='Kobe' last='Bazemore'] and point-forward [player_tooltip player_id='2047682' first='Idris' last='Rines'] (6'4′, 200 lbs.) return for an Upper Dublin squad with major expectations. Mulroy is a three-level scorer who is one of best in the area at converting on difficult shots. Meanwhile Reading graduated a host of starters and their rebuild starts this weekend. The 2024-25 Reading squad will lean heavily on guard [player_tooltip player_id='2427273' first='Jeremiah' last='Camara'] and multi-skilled wing [player_tooltip player_id='2247350' first='Weshly' last='Rosario']. Camara torches opponents off the dribble and Rosario can drain threes all day. Both Camara and Rosario are skilled transition finishers. Shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1540425' first='Rainier' last='Ramos'] is a prospect to watch for Reading. Tipoff is at 10:10AM at Jefferson University

Archbishop Ryan vs. Trinity

Archbishop Ryan graduated its entire starting lineup that guided the team to the 5A state semifinals this past spring. However, Ryan still returns a deep and talented group that starts with guards [player_tooltip player_id='1382983' first='Deuce' last='Maxey'], [player_tooltip player_id='2424034' first='Semaj' last='Stone'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1279655' first='Michael' last='Green']. Power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2028256' first='Brandon' last='Russell'] will dominate the paint at both ends. Russell played fantastic ball on the spring circuit and raised his recruiting stock significantly. Trinity's lineup boasts all-state guard [player_tooltip player_id='1865345' first='Owen' last='Schlager'] (23 ppg.; multiple DI offers) as well as backcourt prospects [player_tooltip player_id='1890473' first='Reece' last='Brown'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2427375' first='Andre' last='Steele']. This past season Schlager posted back-to-back 30-point games in the District 3-3A tournament. Tipoff is at 1:40PM at Jefferson University

Neumann-Goretti vs. Camden Catholic (NJ)

The recent transfer of standout guard [player_tooltip player_id='1411663' first='Torrey' last='Brooks'] from Neumann to Camden, should give this already highly competitive game an extra edge. Despite the departure of Brooks, Neumann will return a powerful lineup that includes point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1608258' first='DeShawn' last='Yates'] and combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1188626' first='Keon' last='Mtume-Long']. For the Saints college coaches should also keep an eye on rising sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2427604' first='Cassius' last='Laws'] and recent transfer addition Alassan N'Daye. In addition to Brooks, Camden's starting five boasts Top 5 ranked New Jersey prospect Emmanuel Joe-Samuel. Tipoff is at 5:10PM at Jefferson University

Devon Prep vs. Bishop Guilfoyle

Devon Prep, the reigning 3A state champions hits the court this weekend with an impressive group of returning players. Stretch-4 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1230538' first='Zane' last='Conlon'] (17.6 ppg. & 9.4 rpg.) and small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1874206' first='Reece' last='Craft'] (11.5 ppg. & 6 rpg.) will be DP's primary scorers at Philly HS Live. But the supporting cast of guards should grab the attention of college coaches too. That list includes returning starters [player_tooltip player_id='1762897' first='Shane' last='Doyle'], [player_tooltip player_id='1865353' first='Mason' last='Thear'], and [player_tooltip player_id='2227000' first='Calvin' last='Smith']. Bishop Guilfoyle is a WPIAL powerhouse squad with shooting guard phenom [player_tooltip player_id='2471627' first='Danny' last='Haigh'] as their No. 1 option. 6'8” power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2478651' first='Trevor' last='Rehm'] does the damage on the interior for Guilfoyle. Tipoff is at 6:20PM at Jefferson University.
