Tuesday night Green turned the Donofrio Classic quarterfinal game into his own shooting clinic. The lefty sharpshooter from Archbishop Wood popped 8 threes on his way to 28 points. Green dialed up transition threes as well as spot ups from the top of the key and the corner. His deep range and ability to shoot over taller defenders was remarkable. Still, the most impressive part of Green’s shooting display was his ability to execute a head / ball fake, followed by a side in dribble into space for a clean look. Green also flashed solid open court passing skills.

This lefty owns textbook mechanics and quick trigger. Those assets combined with his continuous off ball movement made Green difficult to guard on Saturday. Green also ran as a primary ball handler at times. In that role, Green displayed tight handles and solid court vision as he pushed the rock on the fast break and directed half-court sets. In the fall, Green picked up an offer from Georgian Court (D2).
