Tumelty knocked down timely shots throughout the game I saw him play against Sewickley. He plays with no fear and I like how he sought out contact when attacking the basket. Tumelty also made an impact on the defensive end by coming up with rebounds and steals. His shot-making, fearless approach, and activity on defense give him multiple ways to impact the game.

It may take a bit for Tumelty to crack the rotation for a Wood team loaded with D1 talent, but he showed he could be a nice piece for the future with a smooth off-ball skillset in the backcourt. Tumelty showed a smooth shooting stroke with nice instincts for finding open space on the perimeter, also punishing some closeouts with swift straight-line drives off the bounce. With length to grow into and some wiry strength in his frame, he looks like a safe bet to be a solid small-college prospect down the line with some upside to rise if he can develop and show more in game action at Wood moving forward.
