Rines is one of the top available 2025 stretch-4 prospects in SEPA and he proved that again during the 1st Round of the Donofrio Classic. Rines (15 pts.) splashed 3 triples, crashed the offensive glass for put backs and scored from the elbows off one or two dribbles. He used his sneaky slick handles to create off the bounce too. When the opposing team attempted to double Rines, he was quick to recognize it and then deliver a creative pass to an open teammate. Rines did excellent work on the defensive glass as well.

Rines is a multi-skilled stretch-4 prospect who is effective as a scorer and distributor. On Saturday it was his scoring that really grabbed our attention. Rines posted 20 points, seven of which came in overtime during Upper Dublin’s upset of previously undefeated Coatesville. Rines buried a triple at the beginning of the OT session that was the kick start to UD’s upset bid. During regulation, Rines produced points in the mid-range as well as via the offensive glass. Even though Rines had a hot hand, when the opportunity to move the ball came along, he did not hesitate to drop creative dimes on teammates.

We have been saying for over a year now that Rines is an intriguing steretch-4 prospect with size and a multi-faceted skill set. Rines made us look good over the weekend by putting that entire skill set on display as he posted a triple-double of 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists against Downingtown West. That ridiculous stat line is believed to be the first triple-double in UD program history. Even more amazing is that Rines committed only 1 turnover. Rines did his scoring damage in the paint, was a creative distributor and dominated the defensive glass. Plus, his jump shot must be respected all the way out to the arc.

Rines is built like a traditional power forward, but Tuesday night his stretch-4 skill set was on full display during UD’s win over La Salle. Rines laced 4 threes and scored in the mid-range as well as on the interior. He also worked the glass at both ends and delivered several creative assists. When the final horn sounded, Rines has posted 22 points to go along with 7 rebounds. With opponents focused on stopping UD guards
