backcourt. Possessing a keen creativeness off the dribble, Brooks Jr. is adept at breaking his defender down and scoring it at multiple levels— hitting pull up jumpers as well as using his quickness to get to the basket and utilizing different finishes. Operating as a primary ball handler in any offense that he runs, Brooks Jr. plays with incredible poise and good court vision, creating advantageous looks for himself and his teammates around him. One of the biggest stock risers from this past high school season, look for Brooks Jr. to continue building upon his explosive scoring performances and see a handful of D1 schools get involved in his recruitment.

Brooks wasted no time making his impact on the Garden State as the Philly Catholic League transfer hit the ground running immediately upon gaining eligibility while guiding the Panthers with a number of gaudy statistical outputs from the backcourt. After shining for long stretches on the EYBl circuit last summer, he’ll take his talents to the MHC where he’ll debut with Jersey Force as one of the higher-regarded prospects on the circuit. A silky-smooth southpaw with the ball on a string, Brooks routinely dances with defenders before knifing into the lane for soft-touch finishes or to set up his teammates. While he’s not the burstiest athlete, his skill level and the constant threat of his long-range pullup make him a consistently tough cover for opposing guards. We’ll look for him to step into more of a leadership role even with a new group, but his wide-ranging offensive skillset makes it easy to see why programs at the mid-major level and higher have already come calling.

shined in his ability to consistently get in the paint and create good looks not only for himself but his teammates as well. In terms of creating for himself in the paint, Brooks did a solid job of finishing around the basket amongst traffic. In terms of creating for his teammates, Brooks did a good job of attracting help defense to either hit guys in the dunker spot or spray out to open shooters on the perimeter.

This former Neumann-Goretti star is now one of the most dynamic floor generals in the Garden State. In 2024-25 Brooks is averaging 20.5 ppg. and is popping 2.5 threes per night. So, it should not come as surprise that he just received offers from Kansas State and Seton Hall.
