Jeffersonville vs. Lawrence North

Last Season's Record: Jeffersonville (20-8) Lawrence North (25-4)

Prospects to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='1297093' first='Michael' last='Cooper'] (Jeffersonville H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1373104' first='P.J.' last='Douglas'] (Jeffersonville H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'] (Lawrence North H.S. 2026), [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] (Lawrence North H.S. 2026), [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'] (Lawrence North H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1388408' first='Tre' last='Singleton'] (Jeffersonville H.S. 2025)

Storyline: These two teams played a barn burner in the 2024 Semi-State with Jeffersonville pulling off a 62-60 upset over the Wildcats. A lot of the same faces are back for both teams this season so this June matchup will essentially serve as a rematch of the two teams likely to be ranked preseason Top 5 in Class 4A.

Greenfield-Central vs. Ben Davis

Last Season's Record: Greenfield-Central (24-1) Ben Davis (23-6)

Prospects to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='1306153' first='Michael' last='Johnson'] (Greenfield-Central H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1296984' first='Braylon' last='Mullins'] (Greenfield-Central H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1749499' first='Tavion' last='Williams'] (Ben Davis H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1373105' first='Mark' last='Zackery'] (Ben Davis H.S. 2025 - Notre Dame Football)

Storyline: Ben Davis won the state championship going undefeated in 2023 and then went back to the state finals in 2024 before losing to Fishers. They will be excellent once again this coming season. As for Greenfield-Central, they were undefeated last season until the Sectional 9 championship game and featuring the state's top prospect in four-star, Top 40 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1296984' first='Braylon' last='Mullins'].

Carmel vs. Fort Wayne Wayne

Last Season's Record: Carmel (12-11) Fort Wayne Wayne (23-4)

Prospects to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='1297001' first='Chase' last='Barnes'] (Fort Wayne Wayne H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1296972' first='Alex' last='Couto'] (Carmel H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1297032' first='Trey' last='Dillard'] (Fort Wayne Wayne H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell'] (Carmel H.S. 2026)

Storyline: The Generals of Fort Wayne Wayne have been to back-to-back Class 4A Semi-States and will look to return with plenty of talent once again. Carmel put together one of the most impressive stretches in the state last season proving that they would be a force to reckoned with down the road. They won eight of their final 10 games which included handing Fishers their lone loss of the season.

New Palestine vs. Cathedral

Last Season's Record: New Palestine (22-6) Cathedral (18-6)

Prospects to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='1297068' first='Julius' last='Gizzi'] (New Palestine H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1525663' first='Brady' last='Koehler'] (Cathedral H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1561435' first='Julien' last='Smith'] (Cathedral H.S. 2026), R'Mani Wells (Cathedral H.S. 2026)

Storyline: Both of these teams were excellent at the Class 4A level last season, including the Dragons of New Palestine cutting down the Sectional 9 nets, but they will each drop down to Class 3A this season. Gizzi and Koehler have each had excellent spring seasons that have catapulted their recruitment. Expect to see a lot of college coaches in the stands for this matchup.

Fishers vs. Plainfield

Last Season's Record: Fishers (29-1) Plainfield (15-8)

Prospects to Watch: [player_tooltip player_id='2267048' first='Harper' last='Baker-Lands'] (Plainfield H.S. 2027), [player_tooltip player_id='1525664' first='JonAnthony' last='Hall'] (Fishers H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='1297069' first='Justin' last='Kirby'] (Fishers H.S. 2025), [player_tooltip player_id='2267046' first='Jason' last='Gardner Jr.'] (Fishers H.S. 2027), [player_tooltip player_id='1561513' first='Noah' last='Smith'] (Plainfield H.S. 2026), [player_tooltip player_id='2140345' first='Cooper' last='Zachary'] (Fishers H.S. 2027)

Storyline: You have to include the defending state champions in at least one game to watch especially after how impressive they have been so far this month. Their backcourt will make a strong claim to be the best in the state this season as they look to repeat as Class 4A champions. Plainfield will feature a top rising junior prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='1561513' first='Noah' last='Smith'] who will likely have plenty of college coaches following him closely this weekend.
