things in Jeffersonville upset over Fishers to win the Class 4A State Championship. Scored a lot through contact and was just that active force on both ends that the Red Devils needed him to be. Played great in front of the entire Northwestern staff.

Singleton played amazingly in this game—no one on Mt. Vernon’s roster could out-rebound him. At one point, he even grabbed a rebound over what seemed like all nine other players on the court, then went back up and scored a second-chance basket for his team. He consistently drew double teams, but when that happened, he either beat the defense or found an open teammate for an easy bucket.
A key moment came when he got fouled going for a layup on the left side, making one of his two free throws. This play ignited his team’s game-defining 16-2 run, fueled by a mix of scoring and drawing fouls, and great defence.

Then, by the end of July, he he had a handful of high-major programs to choose from. Singleton opted to sign with Northwestern. Now, after returning from injury, he has been a big part of Jeffersonville’s recent seven game winning streak culminating in Wednesday night’s 78-59 win over New Albany.
