Cooper led the Red Devils in scoring with 24 points, showcasing his finishing ability and offensive skill set. One moment, he’d spin his way underneath the basket, and the next, he’d use his dribble moves to create a three-point shot for himself.
Defensively, he was everywhere—disrupting passing lanes and locking down Ertel when they matched up. On one of his breakups, he stole the ball and scored in transition. Cooper also showed his clutch free-throw ability late in the game, sinking both attempts with less than 30 seconds left to extend their lead to a more comfortable two-possession advantage.

From a breakout performance at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June to a spectacular month of July, Cooper quickly went from no offers to several Division I opportunities before ultimately deciding to sign with Wright State. He was dominant on the perimeter against New Albany making tough shot after tough shot off of the dribble. Cooper finished with 29 points to lead all scorers while connecting on five three-point shots.
