Michael Schneiderman | Prep Hoops Scout
Has a competitive spirited nature and plays selflessly on both ends. Stands at 6’1 but plays at a bigger size and can bang with good physicality down low. Was most impressed with the way he moved without the ball. Made a lot of on the ball screens for his two heavy scoring guards so they could go to work in space. Picked and popped or picked and rolled depending on reads. Posts hard on the block against bigger size. Aggressive boarder. A few great plays were a give and go with his guard, a spin move off the defenders weak side, and an O Board put back.

Mason played with power as a strong fundamental forward. He made great use of pivots and fakes in the lane, getting defenders off balance or in the air before scoring over, around, or through them. He has touch and can hit soft jumpers 15 feet and in, if being crowded with defenders he will make the right play, dish it out and repost or relocate.

out of Jeffersonville. Another player on the fun Era Elite 2028 squad, Longest showed a lot of strength as an underclassman and was very active on the defense end. Offensively, right now he is more of a guy that likes to battle down low so it will be interesting to see if a jumper comes down the line. Liked his effort overall.
