Longest served as Indiana Elite Team Crossroads 16u’s 2-3 Zone buster on Sunday. He did a great job of operating from the high post both as a jump shooter and a right hand driver. The 6’2″ wing/forward did a great job of crashing the offensive glass and finishing through contact around the basket as well. He is asked to play more as a big man on this team and fills the role very well. Longest, a rising junior at Jeffersonville High School, finished with 17 points and 8 rebounds.

A player that I always enjoy getting eyes on is Mason Longest Mason Longest 6'2" | SF/PF Jeffersonville | 2028 IN out of Jeffersonville High School Got another chance to watch him at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament over the weekend with Indiana Elite – Team Crossroads 16U and was again impressed with just how aggressive he is at all times. While he is on the shorter end for his skill position as a power forward, he plays very physical and has some of the better footwork you would have found in the gym this past weekend. He could find himself in a key role for the Red Devils this season.
