I think one of the more intriguing players that I got a chance to get eyes on at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament over the weekend [player_tooltip player_id='3597302' first='Marqua' last='Curtis'] of Indy Metro. Curtis is a 6'9 center that runs with [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 17U and immediately stands out with his size and length in the post. His length gives him a major advantage when he crashes the glass and based off what I saw of him, he is a truck block hunter. He is a under-the-radar center that could be in for a breakout this summer.

When I look at all of the players that I had a chance to watch at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament over the weekend, when it came to consistent scoring, I thought [player_tooltip player_id='2853946' first='Luke' last='Schelle'] was one of the best at that. He is a smaller guard at at 5'10 but plays with a ton of confidence on the wing. He averaged 17 ppg, 5 rpg, and 3 apg -- showcasing some great production in multiple areas of the floor. He knows how to get the open spot on the wing and when he has a chance to fire one off, he takes that every time. Smooth shooter.

One of the better forwards that I watched over the weekend was [player_tooltip player_id='2860041' first='Elias' last='Hart'], who ran with Legacy Ice - Hype 16u. He is a 2028 prospect that just everything in a "tough" way. Few things that stood out to me was a tough fadeaway jumper followed by also hitting a few threes as well. A player with a real high motor and is a under-the-radar three-and-D prospect.

A player that I always enjoy getting eyes on is [player_tooltip player_id='3604177' first='Mason' last='Longest'] out of Jeffersonville High School Got another chance to watch him at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament over the weekend with Indiana Elite - Team Crossroads 16U and was again impressed with just how aggressive he is at all times. While he is on the shorter end for his skill position as a power forward, he plays very physical and has some of the better footwork you would have found in the gym this past weekend. He could find himself in a key role for the Red Devils this season.

A prospect with some of the highest upside that played in the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament was [player_tooltip player_id='2420149' first='Nikolas' last='Reed'] of Ben Davis HS. Running with Indiana Elite - Team Tradition 16u, Reed showcased an ability to play within himself which ultimately made him have a huge impact in the game I saw. At 6'5, Reed is a player that plays mostly inside and is really good about using his strong frame to score through the defense. He plays above the rim as much as he can.
