I think one of the more intriguing players that I got a chance to get eyes on at the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament over the weekend Marqua Curtis Marqua Curtis 6'9" | PF/C Indianapolis Metropolitan | 2027 IN of Indy Metro. Curtis is a 6’9 center that runs with EG10 17U and immediately stands out with his size and length in the post. His length gives him a major advantage when he crashes the glass and based off what I saw of him, he is a truck block hunter. He is a under-the-radar center that could be in for a breakout this summer.

I tweeted about Curtis’ upside over the course of the weekend and he continued to impress throughout The Stage. The bouncy, 6’8″-6’9″ center for EG10 17u is a highly intriguing above-the-rim threat. He can finish lobs, has some explosiveness out of the dunker’s spot, and can elevate to offensive rebound. College programs in search of a big man should absolutely be tracking Curtis’ development this spring and summer.
