For a guard in the mountains, Kaden is tall! It’s so fun to watch players with this size play guard in the 13th region. As a sophomore, Kaden is his teams leading scorer averaging 12.7 PPG. He is shooting 75% from the stripe as well. He is averaging around four trips to the free throw line per game, so he doesn’t shy away from contact. I expect his jumper to improve throughout this summer.

He spaces the floor well and does a great job relocating to the corner, where he has been especially effective at times. With his hands always ready, he’s prepared to catch and shoot quickly when the ball finds him.

South Laurel has to replace a lot of production and Taylor has stepped up to become their best scoring guard at this early point in the season. Previously known as a shooter, Kaden isn’t shooting the ball great thus far but once his shots start falling like normal, he could be averaging 18+ PPG this year.
