Well-known as one of the most explosive guards in Indiana’s senior class, this University of Indianapolis signee had his skills on full display at Sunday’s Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 Workout. Barnes was dominant in transition, got downhill to the rim consistently in the half court, and used his strength to finish at the end of his drives. It will be interesting to see if his performance was enough to earn him a spot on the Indiana All-Star team.

Playing in front of his future University of Indianapolis head coach Scott Heady, Barnes put on a show in the fourth quarter as Fort Wayne Wayne pulled away from Fort Wayne South Side to win 89-60. The explosive lead guard scored eight points through the first three quarters but then poured in 18 points in the fourth to finish with a game-high 26. His ability to take over a game is very, very impressive.
