The Generals of Fort Wayne Wayne had a little bit of a rough outing in the first round of the Fishers Holiday Hoops Classic, but there was still a pretty good player performance by junior guard Tyree Eldridge Tyree Eldridge 6'2" | SF/SG Fort Wayne Wayne | 2027 IN . He was the team’s leading scorer in the big loss to Fishers, but the most important thing I saw was that he just kept battling. He is a two-way wing who has some nice scoring attributes to his game and is not a guy who is going to look to force anything if it is not there. The junior guard plays his role really well for the Generals.

Really good teams have a lot of players who excel in their role. That was certainly the case for this super athletic 6’2″ wing at Fort Wayne Wayne High School this season. He was impressive in the Generals’ Sectional win over Fort Wayne South Side that we attended. Eldridge finished the season averaging 6.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. He has some really upside as a two-way wing.
