One of the top frontcourt prospects in the Indiana class of 2028 is Javontae Eldridge Javontae Eldridge 6'4" | PF Fort Wayne Wayne | 2028 State IN out of Fort Wayne Wayne High School. He is a highly athletic player at 6’4 that makes him such a tough matchup on both ends of the floor. Right now is most impactful around the basket but has his high school career continues to take off, he could develop into more of a playmaking wing. Lot of raw upside in the Eldridge.

Fort Wayne Wayne has had an up-and-down season so far, but their raw talent is undeniable. We had the opportunity to watch them beat Mishawaka Marian 72-65 back on Monday at the Huntington North Holiday Classic. Eldridge was a key part of the Generals massive comeback after falling behind 17-4 in the opening quarter. His elite athleticism and physical tools allowed him to really impact the game on the defensive end and in transition. The 6’4″ sophomore wing/forward finished with 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots in the game.

One of the more intriguing prospects we have in the instate 2028 class come from the Fort Wayne area. At the 6-foot-4, Javontae Eldridge Javontae Eldridge 6'4" | PF Fort Wayne Wayne | 2028 State IN is a multi-sport athlete that brings some high athleticism in the front court. He has already played some varsity for Fort Wayne Wayne but he is expected to become more of factor this season. Will be interesting to watch him come June.

One of the more physical front court pieces in the current freshman class, Eldridge has been able to play his way onto the floor at the varsity level for Fort Wayne Wayne. He communicates at a high level for a young prospect and is consistently involved defensively and on the glass. It will be fun to watch his progress over the coming years as one of the top prospects in Fort Wayne.
